Systems Analysis

7thpic.jpgAs a business-savvy person, you are aware of the gap between your business people, and your IT people. Systems analysis is the bridge between business and IT, and between business analysis and package selection or systems architecture.

Our systems analysts take your vision of a system, or suite of systems, and translate that vision into standard documentation which can be understood equally by your business people and your IT people.

Our methodology

Capture and prioritise your system requirements using Use Cases (a standard tool within the Unified Process - an industry recognised development methodology).

Select the right tools for the job. This can make a big difference to development and maintenance costs, and our experience of a large number of different tools and techniques puts us in an ideal position to advise you of the most cost-effective way forwards.

Produced detailed plans for the construction and transition phases. We recommend an iterative development approach, so that end users can give early feedback on a subset of the system. This ensures system construction does not stray too far from what you want before it is put back on track, saving you time and money.

Carry out the plan, handing-off to the development team and business analysts as part of the plan, as appropriate.
