Sometimes however, only a bespoke solution can offer the flexibility and precise fit required.

Development of a bespoke solution begins with Business and Software Analysis and is an extension of the same processes and methodologies used for those activities. Once the overall structure of the system has been architected, then detailed design continues in the same way and using the same approach. Our methodology is based on the Unified Process (an industry recognised development methodology), but with a strong emphasis on flexibility. Our development process is iterative to ensure that end-users get early feedback and influence over what is being developed and how it is being developed.

Microsoft introduced .Net in February 2002 as a set of new development technologies designed to revolutionise the software development process. .Net consists of both a development platform (the .Net Framework) and a set of associated tools and technologies. Monsoon Malabar were early adopters of this new technology having participated in Microsoft’s Beta program as early as January 2001 and began using .Net for real development solutions from the day it was released. Since that time we have kept pace with the evolution of this platform and the new improvements that are constantly occurring and are currently evaluating the forthcoming .Net 2.0 platform. In the past we have delivered solutions using many elements of .Net technology including ASP.Net Web-based systems, Windows forms systems, Web Services, Mobile systems and hybrid solutions.

Many bespoke software requirements need to store data in a structured manner. Often the best place to store such data is in a relational database. Our database of choice is Microsoft’s SQL Server, which provides a proven, reliable and highly performing platform for storing any volume of data. We have many years of experience in developing SQL Server based solutions.
